Facility Rental

The Hearst Center offers unique and flexible spaces for your next event. Our facilities can accommodate groups from five to 150 people for meetings, private functions, or special programs. Our experienced staff will be there to assist you every step of the way; you are also welcome to visit to view our spaces in person  .Find the right space for your next event. Youth Birthday Party Options

*Please note that youth themed birthday parties rentals are not available at this time. Check back here in the future for updated info.

Pick between Animal Safari, Playing With Clay, Outer Space, Ocean or customize your own theme! 

Rownd I & II Classroom

Capacity | 36 (seated at tables) 45 (seated on chairs) 65 (standing)

Times: Parties are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday afternoons between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Themes and art activities are designed for children ages 3-12. However, lessons may be adjusted appropriately to accommodate for a teen or adult birthday party.

Supervision: At least one adult host is required to assist the Hearst Center’s instructors during the party, though we suggest at least one additional adult to assist the party host throughout the event.

Food and Celebration: The party host is in charge during the party celebration and provides the food, beverages, utensils, and paper products. Access to the kitchen and a refrigerator/freezer can be arranged. The host is responsible for cleanup. No gratuity, please.

In partnership with UNI's Department of Art, a unique opportunity comes once a year to apply for a one-year lease in our Red House Studios, funded by UNI.  Open to current UNI art students, or alumnus.
