Students 16 years old and above can also register for adult classes and workshops.

Anime Drawing Workshop
Saturdays, March 9, 16 & 30
Capture the emotion and drama of Anime! Explore the distinct proportions and themes of this versatile genre. Students receive a sketchbook to take home at the end of each session to practice drawings.
Times: (Ages 13–16) Noon–1:45 p.m. (Ages 9–12) 2:00–3:45 p.m.

Doll Fashion Workshop
(ages 9+)
Saturdays, April 6, 13 & 27
Practice your sewing skills while you design clothing for your favorite doll. Materials and sewing machines provided; just bring your creativity and your doll!
Time: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Instructor: Tonia Hansen
Fee: $42 ($37)

Teen Ceramics: Wheel Throwing & Hand Building (ages 12–16)
Advance your knowledge and skills of the wheel and hand-building. Instructors guide you through
steps of throwing pots and building small sculptures.
Time: 1:00–3:30 p.m.
Instructor: Claire Timmerman
Fee: $42 ($37) + $7 Clay Fee

Girls Scouts / Boy Scouts Workshop
Hearst Center instructors are often available to assist Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in meeting art badge requirements with themed workshops. Although badges are not sold or distributed by the Hearst Center, troops can meet the requirements for their badges during a fun and creative afternoon for just $8 per Scout. The minimum requirement of Scouts per workshop is 8 and the maximum is 25 Scouts. Troops may combine to reach the minimum requirement. Animal Safari Outer Space

Parties are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Themes and art activities are designed for children ages 3 - 12. Cost is $140 for up to 15 participating guests; additional guests may be added at $8 each up to 25. At least one supervising adult for every 8 party guests is required.
